Ryan Reynolds returns as Marvel's antihero battling a new villain in Josh Brolin's Cable

A new trailer for Marvel’s superhero sequel “Deadpool 2” dropped on Thursday with even more sarcasm and nonstop action courtesy of Ryan Reynolds.
Like the previous trailer released in February, Reynolds’ Deadpool is seen facing off against Cable, yet another Marvel villain portrayed by the talented Josh Brolin. It’s not all gunshots and punches, though, as Deadpool reveals a softer side in a few scenes with his fiancée Vanessa (Morena Baccarin), who he reunited with in the first film.
T.J. Miller returns as Weasel in addition to newcomers Zazie Beetz, Terry Crews, and Shiori Kutsuna who join what Deadpool calls “a super duper fucking group” to help him battle Cable. Check out the full trailer (above).
“Deadpool 2” hits theaters on May 18.
