HBO said goodbye to one Emmy-winning series this past weekend but not before teasing the return of another.

On Sunday, the network offered up a first look at Season 3 of “Westworld,” its critically acclaimed sci-fi drama about theme park robots revolting against the humans who created and enslaved them. The new clip debuted just ahead of the much-ballyhooed “Game of Thrones” series finale.

The “Westworld” teaser features only one returning cast member: Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood), a female “host” who spent the show’s first two seasons breaking out of the Wild West-themed playground that imprisoned her.

Now, she’s finally found her way to the “real” world, depicted as a gritty, futuristic landscape populated by the likes of “Breaking Bad” star Aaron Paul, “Master of None” writer and actress Lena Waithe, NFL running back Marshawn Lynch, and Scott Mescudi, a.k.a. musician Kid Cudi, among others.

“Do you need some help?” Paul’s character asks Dolores, perhaps unaware that she’s more than capable of taking care of herself.

Created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy and based on the film written by Michael Crichton, ”Westworld” is produced by Athena Wickham, Richard J. Lewis, Ben Stephenson, and Stern Show veteran J.J. Abrams.

“Westworld” Season 3 arrives in 2020.
