VIDEO: Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne Investigate Murdered Mythical Creatures in New 'Carnival Row' Teaser

Humans and mythical creatures struggle to coexist in the latest teaser for Amazon’s “Carnival Row.”

Orlando Bloom stars in the Victorian fantasy-noir series as a human detective opposite “Suicide Squad” actress Cara Delevingne, who plays a faerie fleeing persecution. Together, the unlikely duo engages in a dangerous affair while also investigating a string of murders threatening to upset the delicate peace between their city’s human citizens and its magical refugees who emigrated from a war-torn homeland.

The new teaser begins with a wide array of characters speeding by on a train—including stuffy men in tall hats, a romantic encounter between a human woman and something with wings, and an assortment of horned creatures essentially forced to ride in steerage—and ends with a glimpse of Orlando and Cara’s characters holding a flickering lamp up to the darkness.

Directed by Jon Amiel and created by René Echevarria and Travis Beacham, the series co-stars David Gyasi, Tamzin Merchant, Andrew Gower, and Karla Crome, among others.
