Alanis Morissette fans are likely going head over feet this week as the seven-time Grammy winner has released a brand new song called “Diagnosis.”

Co-written with Michael Farrell and produced by Alex Hope, the heart-wrenching piano ballad depicts a person struggling with mental illness and postpartum depression. It serves as the third single off the singer, songwriter, and repeat Stern Show guest’s upcoming album, “Such Pretty Forks in the Road”—Alanis’s first new studio album in eight years. She previously released the songs “Smiling” and “Reasons I Drink.”

The Canadian pop star has sat down with Howard multiple times over the years, delivering both performances of some of her biggest songs and detailing many highlights of her legendary career. In 2015, while celebrating the 20th anniversary of her seminal album “Jagged Little Pill,” Alanis even delivered an in-studio rendition of her classic tune “You Oughta Know.” Check it out (below).

Alanis Morissette’s “Such Pretty Forks in the Road” is scheduled to arrive May 1.
