Stern Show veterans Kristen Stewart and Maggie Gyllenhaal find new ways to share personal stories during quarantine in the trailer for Netflix’s short film collection “Homemade,” arriving June 30.

Celebrating the craftsmanship of filmmaking and the enduring power of creativity in the face of a global pandemic, the anthology showcases personal and moving stories from the likes of Stewart quarantining in Los Angeles, Gyllenhaal quarantining in Vermont, and other talented artists quarantining in their respective states and countries as they offer up a glimpse of life from their own homes and neighborhoods.

Produced by the Apartment Pictures and Fabula, “Homemade” also features contributions from Ladj Ly, Paolo Sorrentino, Rachel Morrison, Rungano Nyoni, Natalia Beristáin, Sebastian Schipper, Naomi Kawase, David Mackenzie, Nadine Labaki & Khaled Mouzanar, Antonio Campos, Johnny Ma, Gurinder Chadha, Sebastián Lelio, Ana Lily Amirpour, and Pablo Larraín, the last of whom also recently signed on to direct Stewart in the upcoming Princess Diana biopic “Spencer.”

When Stewart made her Stern Show debut in November, the actress opened up about everything from the pressure she feels to publicly define her sexuality to her role in the fan-adored adaptation of “Twilight.” She also shared childhood memories of watching Howard’s own adaptation of “Private Parts.” Check out a clip from their conversation (below).
