Grammy-winning superstar’s latest release is her first since February’s “No Time to Die”

Grammy-winning superstar Billie Eilish is back with her first new song since February.

The 18-year-old singer, songwriter, and Stern Show veteran on Thursday released an animated music video for her and her brother Finneas O’Connell’s solemn and largely a cappella tune “My Future.” Andrew Onorato directed the colorful clip, which in just 24 hours racked up over 5 million YouTube views.

“It’s a song that’s really, really personal and special to me,” Billie wrote in a statement. “When we wrote this song, it was exactly where my head was at—hopeful, excited and a crazy amount of self-reflection and self-growth. But recently it has also taken on a lot of new meaning in the context of what’s happening in the world now. I hope you can all find meaning in it for yourselves.”

“My Future” is Billie’s first release since “No Time to Die,” the theme for the upcoming 25th James Bond movie. The new song’s arrival coincided with Finneas’s 23rd birthday. As Stern Show fans no doubt remember, Billie and Finneas visited Howard’s studio last September and gave listeners a look at their song-writing process before putting on a mini-concert.
