Actor, comedian, and repeat Stern Show guest Tracy Morgan is down on his luck in the Season 3 trailer for “The Last O.G.,” returning to TBS on Tuesday.

His character Tray desperately needs a new place to live, his food truck has gone up in flames, and he doesn’t much like the new man his mom is dating (played “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star and fellow Stern Show veteran J.B. Smoove). “Mom, where you find this clown?” a despondent Tray asks after while J.B. gallivants around her kitchen in not much more than a robe.”

“We met at church,” she responds.

“I was clearing some hot wings, until I saw them thighs,” J.B. adds. “I wanted a whole bucket.”

“The Last O.G.” is executive produced by Morgan and “Us” director Jordan Peele, who also serves as co-creator. The TBS series also co-stars Tiffany Haddish, Dante Hoagland, Taylor Mosby, and Ryan Gaul and features cameos from celebrities like former N.B.A. all-star Chris Bosh and boxing legend Mike Tyson.

Tracy has visited the Stern Show numerous times over the years, most recently last May when he regaled Howard with stories from “Saturday Night Live,” sitting courtside at New York Knicks games, and everything in between. He also revealed his picks for the greatest comedians of all time, which included Richard Pryor, Charlie Chaplin, Carol Burnett, and Lucille Ball. “That’s when comedy was comedy, when nobody was scared to take a fucking pie in the face,” Tracy told Howard. “The Last O.G.” returns Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. on TBS.
