Billie Eilish Bathes in Sorrow, Regret, and Literal Bath Water in Self-Directed ‘Male Fantasy’ Music Video

Tune serves as the final track on the Stern Show guest’s latest album “Happier Than Ever”

Billie Eilish swims in sorrow, regret, and literal bath water in the self-directed music video for “Male Fantasy,” a song off her sophomore album “Happier Than Ever.”

Released on Monday, the clip shows the Grammy winner lounging about around the house while singing a down-tempo and ostensibly sad song about everything from loneliness and love to pornography and therapy. She eats, naps, and even takes a bath, but no matter what she does she just can’t kick the blues.

“Male Fantasy” serves as the final track on “Happier Than Ever,” her 16-song effort which dropped to rave reviews in July. The album’s previous singles include “My Future,” “Lost Cause,” and “Your Power,” among others.

Eilish and her creative partner and brother Finneas O’Connell famously visited the Stern Show in 2019 to support her debut album, “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” The two sat down for a wide-ranging conversation with Howard before performing some of Billie’s biggest hits. Check out their live, in-studio rendition of “All the Good Girls Go to Hell” (below).
