Jamie Foxx and Dave Franco team up to hunt vampires for money in Netflix’s upcoming horror-comedy “Day Shift.”

Foxx plays Bud, a cash-strapped dad who must come up with $10,000 or risk seeing his wife and daughter move to Florida without him. So, he teams up with Seth (Franco), a novice vampire hunter who literally pees his pants the first day on the job. Together the unlikely partners drive around the San Fernando Valley disguised as pool cleaners, looking for blood suckers to kill and defang in order to receive a big pay day from the vampire hunting union, which includes Stern Show veteran Snoop Dogg.

“Vampire hunting is a business. Cutting necks and cashing checks,” Snoop’s character Big John Elliott explains (above).

Directed by J.J. Perry and written by Tyler Tice and Shay Hatten, “Day Shift” also stars Karla Souza, Meagan Good, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Eric Lange, and Scott Adkins.

While Foxx didn’t have much to say about hunting vampires when he stopped by the Stern Show in 2017, he did open up about his real-life career in Hollywood and how Oprah Winfrey gave him the advice he needed to win an Oscar. “To this day, it’s the most significant time in my life where it was, like, a chance to grow up,” Foxx told Howard. Check out a clip from the interview (below).

“Day Shift” debuts Aug. 12 on Netflix.
