Pamela Anderson looks back at her extraordinary life, career, and relationships, in a trailer for “Pamela, A Love Story,” arriving later this month on Netflix.

Directed by Ryan White, the documentary utilizes home videos, diary interviews, and a candid interview with Pamela herself to offer an intimate portrait of her improbable journey from small town girl to one of Hollywood’s most celebrated superstars. It was at times a bumpy road for the model, “Baywatch” actress, and one-time wife of Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, who seemingly graced the covers of both Playboy magazine and tabloids in equal measure. Now, she’s finally ready to tell her own story.

“I want to take control of the narrative for the first time,” the actress, activist, and mother says in the trailer (above) before talking about everything from her high-profile relationships to becoming one of the world’s most beloved sex symbols. “I don’t care what people think because it’s the only choice I had. If I cared what people think, I wouldn’t be here … You have to be brave, and you have to use what you got,” she added.

As Stern Show fans will remember, Anderson covered several of those topics in her 2015 Stern Show interview. See what she told Howard about co-parenting with her ex-husband Tommy Lee (below).

“Pamela, A Love Story” debuts Jan. 31 on Netflix.
