VIDEO: Shaggy Tries to Find the Stern Show ‘Leak’

Reggae star sings a new rendition of his iconic song “It Wasn’t Me”

September 9, 2025

Grammy-winning reggae star Shaggy took his talents to the Stern Show studio this week to help Howard hunt for a back-office mole. As Howard had pointed out to listeners, an “insider” had been sharing information with the press about everything from staff sentiment to Howard’s contract negotiations with SiriusXM. Thankfully, the “Boombastic” singer was eager to help the King of All Media get to the bottom of things.

“I’ve been reading that someone on your staff has been leaking rumors to the press. Lots of rumors out there, but I can help you get to the bottom of this real quick,” Shaggy began before singing a very special rendition of his iconic 2000 tune “It Wasn’t Me.”

“It wasn’t me!” staffers JD Harmeyer, Richard Christy, and Sal Governale all insisted.

“It wasn’t fucking me!” their colleague Ronnie “the Limo Driver” Mund added.

“Sorry, Howard. I did my best. Nobody’s fessin’ up,” Shaggy joked. “Let me know if you want me to waterboard some of these fools.”

Oh well — thanks for trying, Shaggy!
