Friends in High Places

Former Senator Al D’Amato called in to wish Howard luck with his move to SIRIUS.

Howard commented that Sen. D’Amato has not only been a supporter of his throughout the years, but has also been one of the few politicians who have spoken out against some of the decisions made by the FCC.

Sen. D’Amato reported that he got remarried a year-and-a-half ago, and that his life couldn’t be better.

Sen. D’Amato also told Howard that he’s sure he’ll use his position on satellite to defend people who don’t have such a large forum and that his career will only continue to get better.
