Jon announced he had a clip from “The Channel 9 Show” called “Black Folks with White Features.” Gary recalled that they used to do the radio show in the morning on Fridays and then travel to New Jersey to tape “The Channel 9 Show.” Gary also said that they used to make their guests on “The Channel 9 Show” wait in the green room for hours before their appearances so that they wouldn’t be privy to the preparations for the sketches they’d be appearing in. Gary added that their obsession with keeping the sketches private became so dominant that they even started disconnecting the television in the green room so that the guests couldn’t see what was being set up. In the clip, Howard, who Ralph noted was decked out in a six-foot afro and “X” hat, interviewed Sabrina Le Beauf, who played Sondra Huxtable on “The Cosby Show.” After the tape, Gary mentioned the names of the people who played other characters in the sketch, including Howard’s parents and brother. Gary also pointed out that, since there was no studio audience at “The Channel 9 Show,” the only person who could be heard laughing throughout the piece was Jackie. When Ralph commented that he used to enjoy spending time on the show’s set, Gary admitted that he didn’t take the time to have as much fun there as he should have.
