Howard announced that Cynthia’s story warranted tickets to the film festival, as long as she was willing to introduce herself at the event. Cynthia responded, though, she didn’t want to draw attention to herself at the festival and said she’d ask her husband if he’d be willing to call in with her tomorrow for the tickets if she could protect her anonymity at the festival. When Cynthia added she felt like she was being “thrown under the bus” by Howard, Artie commented he thought Cynthia had been under a bus before: Jerome Bettis.
