‘Dougie the Puggie’: The Movie
Eric the Midget called in to say he was upset that Howard hung up on him earlier (because William Shatner was on the line) and wanted the crew to go over the screenplay “outlines” he’d written. Will came in to say that Eric’s screenplays are obviously written by Johnny Fratto and all include a part for Diana DeGarmo. Howard asked Eric if he’d told Diana’s “people” that he was writing a screenplay for her, so Eric admitted that he’d told a “mutual friend.” Howard summarized Eric’s new screenplay: Eric decides that he no longer loves Diana DeGarmo and redirects his affections toward a new love interest. Howard wondered if Eric thought the girl he’s been romancing via the Internet recently loved him back, but Eric would only say that he planned to “change” her feelings. Robin wanted to know if Eric really was over Diana, so Eric claimed he had moved on.
