Howard started the show with a discussion of the legacy of not-so attractive first ladies; “Pat Nixon wasn’t that bad, Nancy Regan was ok, but Fred Thompson’s got a wife you just want to f’.” Artie agreed that if Fred won, his wife would be “hands down, the sexiest first lady ever.” Howard added that he didn’t know why Fred was running for president in the first place if he wasn’t going to be energetic about it.
