George Takei Is Back but Artie Lange Not Here to Welcome Him

Howard started off the show noting that Artie called in “sick” yet again, making it the third time Artie has missed the first day of one of George Takei’s week-long visits to the show. George said hello to everyone and speculated that Artie was avoiding him, as “we have a lot to talk about,” including his run-in with High Pitch Mike and the public service announcement for the Human Rights Campaign that Artie’s still yet to record.
