Mrs. Stern is a Charm School Grad

Howard revealed that Beth went to finishing school as a little girl to learn ladylike manners. Then Beth called in to say it was not a “finishing school” – it was “charm school” – and they primarily taught her table manners, how to sit “like a lady” and to write prompt thank you notes. Beth claimed a lot of the habits she was taught turned out to be beneficial, and Howard agreed: “All you guys out there should send your wives to charm school.” He also said that the thing he leaned in finishing school was to flush the tissues after he “finishes,” which is exactly what he did last night while Beth was out to dinner.
