Robin Befriends Gayle King

Robin told Howard that she’d stolen her “new best friend,” Gayle King, from Oprah Winfrey – undermining Howard’s own attempts to befriend Gayle. Robin explained how she recently discovered that they lived in the same building after running into each other in the lobby: “She absolutely loves Beth.”

Howard was glad to hear of Oprah’s loss: “I don’t like that Oprah’s more famous than me. It annoys me, quite honestly. I believe I’m more talented and I should be more beloved.”
