Richard Christy is Sober … And Bored

Richard came in to tell the crew about his sober weekend (he can’t drink because he’s taking antibiotics to treat his gout), which was pretty boring: “I played some guitar and wrote some music. Drinking just makes everything better.”

Richard said he couldn’t get back to his old routine of sneaking sandwich bags full of tiny booze bottles onto flights (because he gets really nervous during takeoff: “Right then I’ll take a drink. I’ll do a shot.”) and into movie theaters: “It’s fun. You pour a little booze in your soda.”
