Howard’s Too Busy to Pray

Howard told the crew he still planned to visit a Jewish temple sometime this week: “I’m going to go pray.”

Robin wondered why he didn’t just pray at home, so Howard explained: “I’ve prayed at home. It doesn’t feel real to me. Yeah. I think it’s bullshit. You’ve got to go somewhere with a group of people.”

Howard explained that he believed in a traditional approach to prayer: “If you’re going to buy into the prayer thing, you’ve got to do it right…I know it’s ridiculous. But I need to do it. I don’t know. I’m just going to go try it.”

Howard said he had wanted to pray this weekend but couldn’t find the time: “I was too busy to pray.”
