‘American Idol’ Still Sucks

Howard said last night’s episode of ‘American Idol’ was the most bizarre he’d ever seen—primarily because Simon, who’s leaving the show, seems to have already checked out: “At the end, Simon—he didn’t even react…this was his last opportunity to judge on ‘American Idol’ and he bombed out. It was like he didn’t even want to be there.”

Howard said Simon was clearly holding back: “I can tell you Simon didn’t bring his ‘A’ game last night.”

Howard said Ellen’s performance was even worse: “She likes everyone. She loves everyone…and she looks peculiar. She’s terrible at it.”

Howard finished by predicting ‘Idol’ was sure to fail next season: “I read a lot into that show and that show’s finished without Simon Cowell.”
