The Radio Hall of Fame Is a Joke

May 26, 2010

Howard read a letter from the Radio Hall of Fame in Chicago that said he’d been nominated in the ‘Active National’ category: “It’s so insulting at this point…I’m the most important guy in radio—in the history of radio.”

Howard went over the list of his no-name co-nominees: “This is insulting! I can’t even tell you how insulting this is…I’m not being pompous or egotistical. I just know I’m the best.”

Howard begged the audience: “Please do not vote for me…I do not want to be voted for. I would be embarrassed to win this.”
