JD Harmeyer mined the tapes that Johnny Fratto recorded of Eric the Actor’s negotiations with the producers of “Fringe,” and the staffer and isolated some of the Wack Packer’s finest moments.

“Eric carries on like he’s Tom Cruise,” he said.

JD said Eric and his roommate-handler Jan seemed most alarmed by the online application process they must use to obtain new passports: “Like someone’s going to steal their identities or something.”

Howard played a few of the more interesting clips, starting with one in which Eric says, “I don’t want to be an actor anymore.”

But when Johnny called his bluff and promises to pass word along to “Fringe,” Eric immediately reneged: “I’ll do it.” In another clip, Jan screamed he won’t apply for a new passport online: “I’m not doing it over the Website!”

Howard told JD to keep digging through the tapes: “This is the greatest drama ever.”

Is Jan the Only Sane Party?

After some consideration, Howard wondered if Jan was actually the only sane party in the negotiations: “Maybe he’s the voice of reason, [saying things] like, ‘All of this is horseshit. Eric ain’t no actor.'”

Robin Quivers thought Eric was a horrible negotiator: “The moment it seems to be going away, he says, ‘Okay, I’ll do it.'”
