Howard noted that Tim Sabean was excited for the Howard100 Tapes team, as they’d won yet another award for their History of Howard Stern specials. Howard congratulated the team but refused to pony up $345 for a seat at the awards dinner: “All of these awards are a scam!” Tim laughed: “You have to pay to enter. You have to pay to go to the dinner.” Howard gave them one chance to make things right: “Why don’t they comp us free tickets since we’re the winners?”
