Scott ‘the Engineer’ Bowls like Shit

Howard learned that Scott Salem was training for his upcoming appearance at the World Series of Bowling with some lackluster practice games: “How do you bowl a 119?”

Scott came in to explain: “The idea of practice is not to think about the score–to not even worry about the score…I’m trying to hit a location for a certain oil pattern.”

Scott said he was preparing for the event’s odd surface: “It’s called Animal Patterns. It’s like bowling on ice.”

Before he left, Scott said he was going to Texas this weekend to continue his training–with the help of the US Olympic Bowling Team.
