The Black Cloud Is Boring

Scott ‘The Engineer’ called in to answer charges that his trip to the World Series of Bowling was a bore-fest: “I’m excited to be here. It’s great.”

Howard tried to gather some interest–and quickly lost heart: “When is your first match? What time? Oh, I want to hang myself.”

Ronnie came in to report that Scott was actually upset about Gary’s appearance on Letterman tonight, as it might steal his ‘Black Cloud 9’ thunder: “First thing Monday morning, they’ll be talking about that and I’ll be forgotten.”

Howard laughed: “See what I mean? He’s a loser’s loser.”
