Shelley Lubben, Ex-Porn Star

Ex-porn star Shelley Lubben stopped by to talk about the evils of porn, telling Howard that her childhood primed her for the industry’s abuse.

She was first molested by a brother-sister duo: “It was in a swimming pool and he showed me his thing. And she got on top of me naked and started rubbing…I was never the same after that. I was definitely violated.”

After that, she began to stray, drinking and eventually running away to the San Fernando Valley, where she became a prostitute: “I stopped caring about myself.”

God’s Healing Sex

Shelley’s going rate started at $35 until “I became my own manager. I started just walking into mechanics’ shops and saying, ‘You wanna blow job for $50?'”

Prostitution led to a short career in porn, which she left after contracting herpes: “I had a huge quarter-sized herpe in my throat and cracked lips. God told me he healed me and I haven’t had an outbreak in over 15 years…he’s practical.”

Howard asked if Shelley’s daughter was the result of prostitution, and Shelley nodded: “Yeah. She’s half-Asian…[the father] was a crazy Chinaman.” Shelley’s since worked her way out in church and the restaurant industry: “I worked as a waitress and I humbled myself before God.”

Shelley said her husband is equally devoted to God–even in the bedroom: “Porn sex is violent and horrible. Marriage sex is hot, beautiful. We invite God into our sex life.”
