Howard Sticks to 6 AM

Benjy quickly turned things around and began asking Howard about his contract negotiations, so Howard confessed: “I would like to keep working–in some capacity–here.” Howard said he wanted to “adjust our schedule here and make it a little more comfortable for us…but it’s not all up to me.”

Howard said one of Sirius XM’s demands was that the show continue to begin at 6am, and he understood, as it’s more attractive to advertisers: “I don’t like forcing myself into bed at 8 o’clock. Especially in the summer. But that’s what we’re paid to do.”
