Howard asked if Ron could ever take advantage of his fame and have an affair, but Ron shook his head: “It would blow up my marriage. There’s no way…and I’m a really lousy liar. I couldn’t keep it going for 11 minutes.” Ron said he had enough experience in Hollywood to know when to step away: “I can always project out and see where it’s going.” Howard thought Ron was too good to be true: “I wonder if there’s any darkness to you.”
