Elephant Boy’s Ex-Con Girlfriend

After Nikki hung up, Howard asked Elephant Boy about his girlfriend, Mary, so Elephant Boy replied that she was now out of prison: “She got into trouble with illegal prescriptions.” Elephant Boy claimed she hadn’t been selling pills–just sharing them with friends in exchange for money: “She’s no Charlie Sheen.”

Elephant Boy said something about his girlfriend that Howard didn’t understand, so Robin interpreted, explaining the terms of their long-distance relationship: “He has a good time when they speak on the phone and a better time when they’re together.” Elephant Boy nodded, saying he hopes to see her more when he retires in 7 years: “In the meantime, I can see her every so often.” Elephant Boy said Mary had gained 50 pounds in prison (“She didn’t exercise…it didn’t matter to me.”) but she now refuses to see him frequently until she loses the weight: “She’s got self-esteem problems.” Howard asked how many times he’s seen her since her release, so Elephant Boy confessed: “Just once. Over the summer.”
