Howard noted that ‘Becoming Chaz’ netted the OWN network it’s biggest ratings yet–705K, far above the 175K per day average–despite being horrifically unsightly: “You want to transform into ape? I wouldn’t care…[but] Chaz is almost impossible to watch. It’s an unbelievable trainwreck.”

JD said Chaz got money for her reassignment surgeries from her AA sponsor, so Howard shook his head: “Can’t this Chaz get a job? You want to be a man? Get a job.”
