Howard welcomed Vinnie Favale, CBS’s Vice President of Late Night Programming, East Coast, to host the annual Howard Stern Superfan Contest. Asked how his musical pet-project was going, Vinnie said a recent preview performance had nearly broken even as a preview performance: “We made about 20 [thousand dollars] but it cost 25.” Howard speculated that Vinnie’s 5 year-long project would’ve taken off sooner if it was any good: “This all reeks of desperation.”
