Gary Is Super-Phlegmy

Howard complained that he’d returned to a “super-phlegmy” Baba Booey: “And he doesn’t want to clear his throat in front of me, so it just gets worse. I don’t think he unloads ’til he’s here. I think he loads it all up for two weeks and lets me have it.”

Gary claimed his phlegm problem was psychosomatic: “It’s the twenty minutes of you staring at me and knowing it’s coming…I know you’re going to do this and it makes me crazy.”

At Howard’s behest, Gary agreed to leave the studio each time he had to clear his throat.
