Why WYSP’s Failure Satifies

Howard remembered how he used to pour over the SRDS radio station guides his father brought home when he was a kid: “I almost had the whole thing memorized…I would even study the secondary markets.”

He’d dream of broadcasting on the biggest stations in the country, including WYSP: “When we became the morning show on WYSP, I was beside myself.”

Howard said he was sad to see WYSP tank, but “it is way more satisfying to see these stations fail because they lost me.”
