Beth’s Summer (Non-)Affair

Early in the show, Howard said he got a Google News Alert had about an article on CaptainWag.com that claimed Beth had some kind of an affair with a famous polo player: “What this article is implying [is] that my wife has a very, very close relationship with Nacho Figueras. They ‘summer’ together and hang out. It is Platonic–but they’re ‘very close.’ And I’m not included.” Howard said he had no idea where the story came from: “My wife’s met Nacho, I think, two times. When she went to a polo match and shook his hand.” Robin compared the rumor to the oft-denied sexual resumes of Howard’s guests, but Howard disagreed–those denials are lies–saying he and Beth are very happy: “Truth is, we barely leave the house.”
