The Phonies Have Spoken

Early in the show, Howard laughed that the Parent’s Television Council had petitioned his (potential) return to network television: “I’m not even with ‘America’s Got Talent’ and they’re already commenting. Such assholes. It’s a phony group, you know.” Robin nodded: “It’s a letterhead.” Howard read the PTC’s allegation that he’d “sucker-punch families” who tune in to “AGT” and promised to give them a real reason to exist: “Why don’t we start our own ‘America’s Got Talent’ with OJ, Sandusky and me and see what happens?”
