William Shatner Says Yes
William Shatner stopped by with his wife, Elizabeth, to promote his new one-man show, “Shatner’s World,” loudly repeating its main theme: “Say yes!” Asked to be more specific about the show’s content, William went even broader: “I discuss the nature of comedy. What makes you laugh. … And then I talk about music and I talk about life. I talk about love and death.”
Captain Kirk’s Net Worth
Howard wondered if Bill had really amassed a net worth of $300 million, but he denied it: “That’s the most absurd sum I’ve ever…” Elizabeth, his wife, wasn’t much help either–she couldn’t even remember if she’d signed a pre-nup: “It’s been so long I can’t remember. … I didn’t really get that he was a famous actor because I didn’t watch too much television.” Bill admitted to not taking her advice when he sold all his Priceline stock for pennies a share: “She said don’t sell.” Elizabeth shook her head at the loss–shares are currently trading at just over $585: “You don’t sell when it’s low.” Still, Bill seemed happy: “I’m in a state of bliss over the idea that love is a continuum.”
