Sal’s $12,000 Veneers

After learning that Sal was getting veneers put on his teeth and planned to finance the procedure with high-interest credit card, Howard laughed: “You know they’re going to be shitty veneers. .. You are an asshole. You are geting 18 to 19% interest for your stupid veneers?” Sal confessed the $12,000 credit line actually carried a 22% interest rate–but he’s got priorities: “I’m doing a couple independent films.” Howard shrugged that Sal was capable of making his own decisions: “Bad ones. Get out of here. I’m saying: no teeth for you.”
