JD’s Trophy Bag

Howard learned, after mocking JD last week, that he had packed up all of his Little League and spelling bee trophies and put them in a bag: “And now I feel bad. Because he loved his trophies. … If that’s all you have in your miserable, wretched life, I’ve ruined that for you.” JD came in to shrug: “I’ll put ’em somewhere [and] that’ll be where it is. In a bag.” JD said he understood Howard’s point. He intends to tidy up his bedroom and start living an adult life: “I mean, I need to do–I need to clean it. A little bit. So, uh, you know, uh, I’m trying to figure how to have it now.” Howard cracked up: “I love when you talk.”
