JD Harmeyer Freezes Jason Kaplan Out of His Life
"I think Jason is an opportunist," JD says
Early in the show, JD Harmeyer explained why he’d “frozen” colleague Jason Kaplan out of his life.
“He tried to, uh, I just didn’t like the way he was making me look job-wise,” JD said. “I think Jason is an opportunist and any opportunity he sees to make someone look worse than him, like job-wise or whatever, no matter how good of a worker the other person is, he will make sure he looks like the best light ever and make sure everybody sees this.”
Howard said he loved Jason and his work but JD insisted that Jason handled conflict poorly.
“His move was not to come up to me,” JD said. “He went straight to the news right in front of [me].”
Howard wasn’t convinced and instead named Jason employee of the month. “You’re making him look look bad,” he said. “He’s the guy doing his job. And he reminded you of it.”
Forced to start talking to Jason again, JD was crushed: “I hate this so much.”
