The newspapers may have scooped him, but Howard still made an announcement that had Mariann from Brooklyn screaming (but what doesn’t?):

America’s Got Talent is moving from Newark to the Radio City Music Hall.

Newark was way too far for Howard to travel, so he’s quite happy. So happy, in fact, that he’s even tossing around the idea of offering Jay Leno a job as the AGT warmup act. What a sport.
