Howard Marvels at Steve Martin and Eric the Actor for Very Different Reasons

ERIC’S TWEETS: THE OPERA

Howard is still fascinated by Eric the Actor’s incredible exchanges with people on Twitter. Even the innocuous questions like “Are you a gluten-free vegan” will set the tiny terror off.

Howard suggested some new rumors to hit the Wack Packer with, like Eric is the Lindbergh baby, Eric is part bird, Eric killed JFK, Eric is way over 100 years old, and Eric is the last survivor of the Titanic.

Eric has even become something of a muse, as Howard played a commercial for the newest theatrical event: “Eric’s Tweets the Opera.”

Howard love – LOVES – Steve Martin. He’s been a favorite of Howard’s since he hit the comedy scene in the 1970s, which is why Howard gets annoyed when he insists on talking about his banjo band instead of his brilliant comedic mind.

Steve was on Letterman a few episodes before Howard’s latest appearance and, when Howard got out there with Dave, he couldn’t resist ribbing him about Steve ‘hijacking’ Dave’s show with his banjo band. “I thought, Steve Martin has something on Dave.”

Robin Quivers asked if Howard would book Steve Martin for an interview, provided he let Steve play one song on the banjo and Howard said he’d decline. Unless he could interview Steve here and then trick him into going to play banjo on another channel.
