Pat Robertson Aggravates Howard
Pamela Anderson Goes Raw
Pamela Anderson Goes Raw
Pam Anderson— guest with some serious Stern Show history—joined Howard for the first time since 2007 this morning while touting the release of “Raw,” her new book featuring behind-the-scenes photos alongside poetry and prose written by Pam herself. Check out some highlights of their interview below.
Rebooting “Baywatch”
Asked about the recent announcement of an R-rated “Baywatch” reboot reportedly starring Zac Efron and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Pam simply responded, “I don’t get it.”
Still, despite rumors that she was against the film being remade, Anderson clarified that she wasn’t so much against it as just doubtful it would happen considering it had been brought up to her 15 years ago. “I’ll believe it when I see it,” she told Howard.
Either way, it seems safe to say that she’d rather see it live in the past than make a comeback.
Co-Parenting Teenagers With Tommy Lee
Pam has two sons, aged 17 and 19, with her ex-husband Tommy Lee and while she detailed the difficulties of raising them to not be spoiled young men, perhaps the most interesting piece of information was that Tommy is back in the picture and really working hard at being a dad.
While he spent much of their youth out of the picture touring, Pam said that now they are working hard to parent together as their two sons make important life decisions. “Tommy and I are really united as parents,” she revealed, explaining that he is both hard on them and very supportive of her.
Howard wondered if they would ever get back together and while Pam wouldn’t commit to anything, she’s “never been out of love with Tommy.”
A Cure For Hepatitis C
Pam has been fighting Hepatitis C, which she infamously contracted by sharing a tattoo needle with Tommy and while she was told years ago that she’d die, doctors have finally released a cure that Pam is halfway done with. “I’m going to be cured by November 1st,” she explained.
And good thing because it seems having it took an emotional toll on Pam that led her to not date for a while. She told Howard that after being cured she is looking forward to getting back into the game.
Coming To Terms With The Abuse Of Her Youth
Throughout the course of the interview many sickening stories of Pam’s youth emerged. Yet, though she suffered the horrors of gang rape and numerous instances of abuse, Pam remained optimistic about her own potential and made opportunities for herself.
Listen above for the inspiring story of how she took charge of her life.
