Green Day performs live in studio ahead of release of their new album, "Revolution Radio"

The studio was packed with gear for Green Day’s highly anticipated return to the Stern Show Wednesday morning and Howard noticed that there was even a tool area in the hallway where equipment could get repaired if needed – it was like the same setup they’d bring if they were performing Madison Square Garden.
Howard was excited for the band to come in and said he particularly remembered when “Dookie” came out. “That album had so many hits – it was phenomenal.”
