Howard recently stopped drinking coffee after it seemed to affect his voice, but this morning the King of All Media yearned for the caffeine charge that would get him “shot out of a cannon.”
Robin suggested he try it over a vacation week or maybe even over the weekend, and Howard, who is a diehard Starbucks fan, agreed that he might try to reintroduce it to his mornings.
Tragedy in Orlando
Howard addressed the tragic shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando first thing this morning.
“This is the new epidemic,” he began. “What can you say? It just sucks.”
After discussing the need for people to “tone down this anti-gay rhetoric,” Howard also took a call from Gay Ramone, who was noticeably shaken.
“I am so devastated,” Ramone said between tears. The frequent caller also offered his theory on the shooter, Omar Mateen: “He was a self-hating homosexual.”
Gay Ramone added that there was only one solution to save the country — a joint Trump/Stern ticket. Howard said that he hadn’t gotten the call to be the vice president yet though.
