She's a red-blooded woman with a microphone in front of her face – of course Robin Quivers is going to talk about who turns her on in Hollywood. There have been many famous men who've caught her fancy over the years: a champion athlete, a Grammy nominee, even a "Game of Thrones" superstar.
As Sternthology's "Celebration of Robin" week rolls on, we've rounded up just some of the celebrity crushes that Ms. Quivers has confessed (and professed) her love for on air. See which well-known dudes make her list (below).
Wednesday's Sternthology included a segment in which Robin admitted to pleasuring herself to "Pretty Woman" actor Richard Gere.
"I skipped to bed last night and said 'Ooh, I'm going to have a great orgasm,'" Robin revealed live during a 1997 show. Howard wondered if she thought about anyone in particular while pleasuring herself. Perhaps him? Robin responded that, though Howard never crossed her mind like that, there were a few famous fellas who did help her get her groove on.
"Richard Gere is a good one," Robin admitted. "There's something about his look."
The buildup to Jake Gyllenhaal's 2015 Stern Show appearance mostly had to do with how Robin would react to finally meeting the man of her dreams. For many years, she had told Howard how much she enjoyed Jake.
"I've been in love with him for a long time," she said on air in 2010. After he was announced as a guest, Robin admitted that she planned to go shopping in order to buy a new outfit to show off for Mr. Gyllenhaal.
"I need something special!" Robin told Howard the day before he arrived. "He's one of my faves, you now that, I've said that."
Once in studio, the "Brokeback Mountain" star blushed as Robin chose to marry him in a game of F-Marry-Kill. The two posed for a picture (above) before he left.
"I have to say, girls, he still has those abs," Robin announced on air after Jake was long gone. "When we took a picture together, I put my hand right on them."
Howard pressed Robin further on her fantasies about the A-lister. She confessed to thinking about Jake while having (ahem) alone time, but said those fantasies involved more than just sex.
"It's always a love affair," Robin told Howard. "Usually we're on a yacht."
When Howard returned to the radio after attending Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux's wedding in 2015, he spoke of his blossoming "bromance" with Orlando Bloom. Howard wasn't the only one who admitted to falling for Orlando that morning, however.
"He's got that matinee idol thing going for him," Robin said of the British actor. She also asked Howard to tell her ahead of time if Orlando was ever booked as a guest on the show, since she would want to get dolled up for his appearance.
"I gotta get a makeover," Robin joked.
When Howard suggested that he could set her up with Orlando, Robin replied, "Okay, I'm ready. Ready to be Mrs. Bloom."
She might have some competition, though.
"I think either you or me is going to fuck Orlando Bloom," Howard said with a laugh.
Sure, most of House Lannister hates him, but Robin has admitted on many occasions that she's very much attracted to Peter Dinklage, the actor who plays Tyrion on "Game of Thrones."
"I find him incredibly sexy," she told Howard in 2007. "I have the hots."
It wasn't just "GoT" that got Robin all hot and bothered for Dinklage, though. She explained: "I've been watching him for a long time and suddenly I had to say to myself, 'Wait a minute, he turns me on!'"
As for their height difference, Robin said it doesn't matter to her in the slightest. "It's not about his stature, it's about his person," she said. "He's sexy to me."
Bradley Cooper has become a Stern Show regular since his first appearance in 2011. Each time he visits, the same question always comes up: How will Robin try to seduce him this time?
"The last time he was here, I was playing hard to get," Robin once told Howard, saying she's also tried coming on strong in order to catch his attention. Howard suggested that she should try to get in good with Bradley's family.
"Should I go and become friends with his mom?" Robin asked. Considering how close Bradley is with his mother, that seemed like the best bet.
Of course, Robin's quest for Bradley Cooper is all in good fun. However, any true fan knows that when faced with the F-Marry-Kill between Brad Pitt, Jake Gyllenhaal, and the "Alias" actor, Robin confidently responded: "I'm fucking Bradley Cooper."
While reading a news story about the 2015 Grammy nominees, Robin abruptly stopped to talk about her latest man crush: Hozier.
"If you really love me, Howard, you will get me this guy Hozier," she pleaded on air. Her request surprised Howard, who confirmed that Robin indeed wanted to go out with the Grammy nominee.
"Go out with him? I want to stay in with him!" she replied. "I want him. I want to own and possess him."
Why does she love the Irish-born singer-songwriter so much?
"He has nice hair," Robin told Howard. "A lot of times he just keeps it in a ponytail."
If Hozier ever wants to come and live in the States for an extended period of time, Robin recommended he marry her in order to obtain his green card.
A chance encounter brought Robin face to face (and body to body) with the man she idolized for nearly her entire life. In her book "Quivers: A Life," Robin writes about meeting Muhammad Ali at a boxing match in Atlantic City and how quickly the two of them hit it off while getting their photo taken.
"I never planned to do anything more than stand next to my only idol, but once I was at his side, he slid his arm around my waist," Robin recalls in her book. "I wasn't nervous in the least, and since he was being so familiar, I put my arm around him. Then he leaned over and placed his cheek against my face. It just seemed natural for me to reach for his free hand."
"All this time the photographer had been standing with camera at the ready, waiting for us to get set. She finally let the huge Polaroid drop to her waist and demanded, 'Are you two finished?'"
"'You'll have to forgive us,' I explained, smiling, 'but we're falling in love.'"
"Then Muhammad whispered in my ear, 'You don't know how right you are.'"
Tune in to Sternthology's "Celebration of Robin" all this week on Howard 101.
