VIDEO: Stephen Colbert Wraps Up His ‘Late Show’ Monologue With a ‘Baba Booey’

Watch the late-night host give a special shout-out to Howard

May 1, 2017

Stephen Colbert slipped a Stern Show shout-out into his own monologue on Friday night’s “Late Show” while discussing President Trump’s first 100 days in the White House. Stephen poked fun at a newly launched immigration tip line reportedly being bombarded by phony phone calls.

“Faced with the injustice of Americans being asked to report on their neighbors, clearly it was up to real patriots of America – prank callers,” Stephen said. “It reminds me of the famous quote, ‘First they came for the Muslims and I said nothing, then they came for the Mexicans and I said ‘Howard Stern’s penis! Baba Booey! Baba Booey!'”

“So, thank you, Howard Stern’s penis. Thank you for your service,” Colbert continued with a laugh. Check out the video of Stephen’s monologue (above).

Before he took over for David Letterman on “The Late Show” in 2015, Stephen came on the Stern Show and told Howard about going up against Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon. He also showed off his Mick Jagger moves, singing and dancing to the Rolling Stones hit “Brown Sugar” while in the studio. Check out that video (below).

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” airs weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on CBS.
