VIDEO: Howard Serenades His Wife Beth Stern With a New Song

Howard has written wife Beth Stern a love song inspired by her tireless efforts to take care of their home and family of foster cats while quarantining during the coronavirus pandemic.

“I’m working on this song for Beth … I haven’t play it for her yet,” Howard said before strumming his acoustic guitar. “I was feeling very appreciative about her cleaning the house and thought I should write a song for her.”

After running through the tune earlier in the show, Howard debuted it for Beth in person later when she paid a visit to his basement studio. “Life with Beth is like a dream, she protects me from COVID-19,” he crooned.

Done with his performance, Howard appeared pleased with the song’s effect. “See, she liked it,” he beamed.

“I didn’t like it, I loved it,” Beth corrected. “Can you record it for me?”

Constructed initially at a faster speed, Howard acknowledged the song took some finessing before its current version. “I was working on it all weekend,” he admitted.

“While I was cleaning,” Beth observed while laughing.
