Co-host Robin Quivers notes similarities between the Wack Packer and the Ukrainian leader after watching the Golden Globes
When actor, activist, and 2020 Stern Show guest Sean Penn introduced Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky at the Golden Globes, the besieged country’s head of state delivered a powerful message of hope and resilience. As Howard and co-host Robin Quivers noted Wednesday morning, however, his voice also reminded them of someone close to the show.
“It is Ham Hands Bill — oh my gosh!” Robin exclaimed after hearing a clip of President Zelensky’s speech.
It wasn’t long before staffer Chris Wilding debuted a Ham Hands-flavored impression of President Zelensky. “The Golden Globe award is very prestigious, but what would be more better is the smell of American panties,” Chris said while simultaneously channeling the foreign leader and the infamous Wack Packer.
As funny as the impersonation was, Howard remained in awe of the real President Zelensky’s courage in leading his nation. “[He’s a] brave dude,” Howard concluded.
